AI empires at war attach far to high a value to asking you to do Sanctions or War. As in, too lucrative for the player
They do not even get mad if you immediately undo said Sanctions or War.

Many games now, I have basically robbed the AI blind taking all its cash and research I had not pursued yet by re-doing Sanctions/War against the same race over and over. Often a race that I do not even have a trade agreement with.

When dealing with disputed colonies, the valuations of multiple items in a trade window sometimes roll over the maximum longint, and go negative. When this happens, sometimes (not always), they will hand you over free stuff. I have taken over home worlds with drop and run 60+ troop transports landing. Then afterwards negotiated the entire system to me afterwards without giving up anything.

With how close to the vest the other AI trades are, I am pretty sure this is bug land and not intended.

It is easy to abuse the system. Another thing I've noticed is when a race gets stuck in the routine of constantly initiating trade sanctions, you can often negotiate their removal and add the removal of your own trade sanctions to the trade, which is usually worth more cash and then you can demand they pay you 30k or so to remove their own trade sanctions. Then of course they re-apply, so you can ask for another 30k and so on and so forth until they no longer have cash. Eventually they run out of cash and you sit there laughing and saying "yeah, you really taught me a lesson".

You really need to have solid house rules with the DW diplomacy system. It needs a total rework.

ALWAYS play with house rules. Then role play everything else, as well.
