I have yet been able to make some PT boats. What do I have to do. Great game btw.

You need to check your ship reinforcements to see if any barges or PTs are available(on the bottom of the menu). If they are, you need a supply TF unloading at the base designated for barges(not sure about PTs) which when clicked on will bring up the TF menu with a button "activate barges/PTs". click on it. When you do click on it all the barges available will appear after you exit the menu. I don't know how much supply equals a barge. I've had 75 barges available before, luckily my supply TF didn't have that much supply or I would have been flooded with barges.

PTs work the same as barges. There is one piece it that Drex didn't mention. Not only do you have to have them available, but the TF that creates them must have been loaded at Truk or Noumea.

Also the default home port for these guys is always Truk or Noumea, so be sure to change it. If you don't you will find them headed home to mama, which is usually far beyond their fuel range.

good points Bilbow. I still catch myself forgetting to re-set the home port of my barges. Since the majority of my supply TFs come from Noumea/Brisbine/ Truk anyway, I never realized that the source port was important.

I learned re-setting the home port the hard way. One time I created a bunch at Lunga, knowing a Jap bombarment was coming. The PTs were all I could muster. The transports bugged out, and I hoped the PTs would sacrifice themselves. Well the next turn the Japs blasted Lunga, and the PTs were found beating feet for Noumea and out of fuel. Haven't missed it since.

Tks..it was the loading at Nouma and Truk that was messing me up.
