"It's just sitting there, sergeant" "whadda you mean just sitting there" "It hasn't moved since we spotted it, sergeant." "Well move up and fling a few grenades into that open turret. If they're hiding, that oughta pop them out." Lead elements of the Rifle squad crawled forward through the rubble and lobbed a grenade near the german SiG33. The first grenade bounced into the boggies and disabled the SPA's track. The second grenade, a moment later, landed square inside the open-top turret and exploded, killing the entire crew and totally disabling the vehicle. The rifles slunk back into the rubble, snickering. Sgt Hezren lifted the field glasses to his eyes and peered across the shattered street to catch some other signs of the advancing Germans through the smoke. Other than the private's report of that unescorted assault gun, all else was quiet along the eastern front. Fuseliers landing along the riverbanks near the Yauza start receiving their daily dose of 107mm and 120mm HE. Eat this, Fritz! :p Soviet/Moscow Defense Forces - we go out of our way to make sure that you have enough rubber boats.
