Cabin boy or quartermaster here...that's considering I was born in a coastal city unlike real life, where my birth State didn't even exist until the 19th century.

I think I would have like to have been a Priest. Priest like meat sacrifices and you know good and well they didn't let those cooked animals of sacrifice goto waste. From what I've seen Priests are pretty well fed. How many skinny priests have you ever seen?

One question for the OP. As with your other thread are we going back in time or being born in this earlier period? If its the former, I think I will be an inventor. I may have a few good ideas worthy of introduction [;)]

A job means getting a regular wage, I doubt most "jobs" back then would have included anything monetary. Maybe a roof over ones head and bread and water. Most of us would be doing dirty work, due to the fact that we that we would have not enjoyed any schooling. How many of "our coloured members" would have been slaves? It is nice to think we would have a fancy life, doing nice work, if we have to any. I think on my side, if I am honest, I would probably be wearing a red jacket and taking the kings sovereign. Maybe "working" in India or the Americas. Mat

Trader. Preferable chairman of my own trading house. But that is more of a dream. In reality I would probably been a peasant or a serf.
