I know very little about coding or about scripting, so I have no idea how possible this is. But if it's doable and someone is so inclined, I would love to see a mod that uses scripts to handle certain routine functions. Most notably, the assignment of convoy escorts and their return to base. Every turn as the CW, I move the same ships from the same port to the same sea zones, and every turn I have to order the same ones to stay at sea and return to base. A script that automated that procedure would be a welcome improvement.

I do not know of such a scripting possibility, but I have already proposed to make some AI functions available to the player when that is released. I was looking at convoy routing and production planning when I made that statement, but convoy protection is indeed also a nice thing to "delegate" - even if that means that it will be less well executed if I would have done it. That is the pain of delegation, and closer to reality as well. Makes the life of CW much easier and more interesting at the same time.
