Halbart -> Ressource Question (3/17/2014 7:29:17 PM)

Hi all, 1st post :)

I have a question regarding trades and ressource planning:
How can I switch a specific ressource that I lent to another power? I'd like to give an Indian Ressource to Russia. When I click the trade button I get a message to use the default layout & country. Well, i choosed the default on the lower left side, but default country?!?

If anyone could help me here :)

Peter

Please check out Post #18 in the thread below and see if it is of assistance.

Right under where it says Non-oil [95,110] in that white empty box, hit the top most line in the box. It should show a list of countries you have trade agreements for.

Ah, good combination of hints, thanks a lot :)

Ok, next question to come...
I switched to the US, got my philipine ressource to take the direct route - so again, good link above :)
Now I learned that's a good idea to first set up convoys, and then create a trade agreement - i have to deliver the 2nd ressource from US all over the world to china. Anyhow, I set up a default route leaving from the east coast around africa, to free the computed route over the gulf of alaska.
But, the gulf is still not available to choose for another route, and clicking on it shows it's still used for the originally computed route. Is there another trick to free it up?

Thanks again

Peter

I think if you clear the route list and then try right clicking on "Route" at the top, then you should get a list of ports and can choose one that borders the first outbound sea zone, select it (there should be a rail path automatically in place) and then start clicking the sea zones where you have convoys. Click the last sea zone a second time to "lock the route in".

Have you looked at the video tutorial for production (Chapter 13)? It was added after the initial release but should be there in C:\Matrix Games\World in Flames\TrainingVideos if you've updated after mid-February.
