sbatman -> Pirates not trading Korrabian Spice and Zentabia Fluid (3/20/2014 1:49:52 AM)

Hi,

I've been mining Korrabian Spice and Zentabia Fluid for a while and have noticed no revenue from the resources. I'm playing a smuggler pirate and have a mine on a Korrabian Spice planet and a space port equipped with mining engine and luxury extractor on the Zentabia world. Even though there are a few dozen idle freighters, the spice and fluid don't appear to be transported and the resources are just accumulating at the station and space port. I did notice a very small amount of spice reserved, though. No other factions have sources of these resources and my supply is all there is so far in the galaxy.

I'm losing money on mining and resorts, not making much on smuggling mission and the two colonies I have aren't yet generating income. The only way I'm staying a float is by selling information and maintaining a large military fleet, but this may not be sustainable. Any help would be appreciated. Is there a way to get these two resources onto the galactic market?

Thanks,

Sean

Have you given the AI non-pirate factions access to them in the Diplomacy menu?

Yes, looks like that option has been selected the whole time.

Do the AI know where the resources are, so they can send freighters? Try giving/selling them all maps of the systems the luxuries are in.

Aside from that, nothing else is coming to mind.
