hello,
I play as regular race, not pirate. And i have one question about smuggling. Why when i set "assign mercenary smuggling mission at ...", all freighters gives me resources for free ? or i dont understand smuggling concept ?

Depending on the resource, usually explained in the full mission message, a Bounty will be paid for each XX amount of a resource to reach the destination. I seldom deal with smugglers any more, except for truly WAY out of the way colonies.
