Auchinleck -> Naval Movement (4/5/2014 3:42:32 PM)

You might think I would have figured this out by now, but I haven't. How can I move 'a stack' of ships at once, to move them from place to place? There doesn't seem to be a logical or easy way to do it using the mouse. So I must be missing something. I've been moving ships up until now, 'one at a time', because I haven't figured out how to move an entire task group at one time. Needless to say if my ships get intercepted one at a time, they are easy pickings for a group of enemy ships already waiting in a sea area. Or sea box.

CTRL-left-click on it.

You can also double-click on a land hex.

Then hover over any stack and see the "flyout" box. This will show all units in the hex, including naval units.

You can then click on individual units in the box, just don't move the cursor outside until you have all of them selected you want.

I tend to use this more than the ctrl-left-click method, especially when the port has less than 9 ships in it, because the flyout box only shows 9 units at a time.

Another option is the Naval Review Details form. You can do most anything and its my preferred method.

Hope this helps,
