Could you post the gamesave just before or at the point the bug blocks progress in the tech forum? That way it will get attention sooner or later.

I have when I have a game saved at that point. I don't save after every turn. Sometimes I can go an hour before I save and remembering exactly what I did before then doesn't work.

The game does autosaves after almost every phase. The folder is found in the directory you make your manual saves.

When you say you've checked, where did you check?

The game saves automatically after most phases. If you go inside the scenarios folder, then inside the specific scenario you save, then inside saved games you will have a choice of Axis or Allied folders. Those folders will be full of autosaves.

Look in this path for Global war. There are a lot of them...

I've checked and it rarely auto saves.

See page 208 of the Players Manual volume 2 for a description of where all the autosaves are placed. The program uses 3 different subdirectories for each scenario.

Thatīs my opinion. I think the game is great...but...there are many bugs. Itīs good to learn and enyoy it but is no possible to play in competition mode. So, the future of the game is in matrix hands, if they keep working, fixing bugs and after, developing netplay mode, the game will be succesfull but if matrix resigns will be a bluff[sm=Crazy-1271.gif]. For example, me and my friends are waiting to buy another 5 copies but by the moment for solitaire, learnning and buggy mode, one is enough for all of us. Nevertheless, we trust in the game cause we think that wif is one of the best strategic games about ww2 and we wish that, little by little, get its real potential. About IA, no neccesary at all, except to barbarossa and guadalcanal for learning to play so our advice to developers, very low priority, center in the core rules to allow the people play against other people, thatīs the success key! Now, we are going to keep playing our first mwif global war...a terrible disaster to my poor axis armies... like someone say I though I was very good wif player but I was not![sm=fighting0043.gif]
Hasta la vista!

Agree with Viktor_Kormel.

Our 2 player game has become less and less playing against each other and more workaround for the games flaws. Soon it will just be a contrived game instead of a game. We are not using the public betas and are still waiting for the supply patch to be released. BP transfer is of great concern, especially to the USSR as are all the combat issues.

We like the game. keep working on it.
