Preferable options • Turn cycle: 1 days • Fog of war: yes • Adv weather effects: yes • Allied damage control: yes • Player defined upgrades: yes • Historical 1st turn: no • Dec 7th surprise: yes • Reliable USN torpedoes: no • Realistic R&D: yes • No unit withdrawals: no House rules can be discussed. I can do 1 turn per day except first turns. Looking for long-term game without auto victory and early surrender.

Would you consider DaBigBabes scenario with cargo limits and extended map with all the other parameters you mentioned? I believe it is scenario "C", but not sure.... Hal

Would love to play as the Allies for once...would need to be under the Beta though, vanilla does not run under Windows 8

I just bought a new laptop with Win8. Cant stand Win8 and had to change some settings so AE would run (Vanilla).

I think you may want to consider looking at the mods. At least some players(maybe a lot more) like the changes and the challenge of those mods. Plus a lot of good people developed them to keep WITPAE fresh. Take a look.[:)] GP

Sorry, but I'm not clear on which side you wish your opponent to play. I don't think I can be effective as the Japanese. The AI has beaten me twice.

If you want the Allies, I can play Japan. I have 10+ CG PBEM experience with Japan. But still in my only Allied one. Bob Rev Rico

We played to the end.
