Not a biggie, but this seems wrong. A ShAP regiment should surely fly tactical bombers?

Fighter-bombers on bomber mission are tactical bombers...

Yes, but it is a Shturmovik regiment, and I cannot change the aircraft type to IL-2 or any other tactical bomber!

They typically get renamed or have their a/c swapped to tac bombers.

Ahhh... where's my pix of a Yak, the 4 legged variety, when I need it most?

But good question about types & functions & AI swapping rules, and answers are appreciated.

Can anyone elucidate the effects of training/function such as bomber/bomber, bomber/fighter, fighter/bomber, and fighter/fighter for a type like the Yak (piloted version?)
