Once there was in this forum a detailed, step-by-step walkthrough of how to unlock the expansions. That seems to have disappeared, so please give me some help.
I've installed the base game (I own CD copies of the base game and all the expansions) and patched it to version 1.81. When I hit the "Play" button, I see that it is correctly patched and all of the Expansions are "Ready", but only FOG is available. So far so good.
The Slitherine Forum advises customers to double click on the desktop launcher and then to click on the "Register Army Pack Serial Number". Many customers have posted screen shots that show such a link on their versions.
My problem is that no such link shows up on my opening splash screen or anywhere else that I've found. The only "Register" button I see is the one that signs me into Matrix's Member site to register the game there, which I did long ago.
I'd appreciate if someone could help me with a step-by-step description -- you know, like an idiot would need -- of how to unlock my expansions in 1.81 using only the serial numbers and in the absence of a "Register Army Pack Serial Number" link.
I'd really prefer not to have to wrestle with having to reinstall all the expansions from the CDs. I've done that before (on my now-defunct computer) and it was by no means a simple or straightforward process.
