Now that [517] and all the air ops awesomeness that comes with it is in the public domain, I am curious about how everyone is getting on with the way air mission routes are done now. Short of a full on stand alone application for planning strike missions, this is one huge improvement for how air ops are handled IMO.

Much time was spent testing this feature in particular, and I think it changes the way Command plays for the better, but I would love to hear what everyone else has to say, so sound off! :D

I might be missing something, but it would be really nice to be able to manually specify weapon assignments, so I can make sure that certain targets get hit with exactly what I want them to be.

Another nice feature would be time-on-target synchronization. I spend a lot of time, for instance, aligning the arrival times of HARMs and cruise missiles, as well as associated air cover and ECM aircraft. It would be amazing if the planner could assist in determining routes, launch, and weapon and sensor release times to allow these kinds of complex attacks to be executed more easily.

Otherwise, I love it. It makes my life so much easier.

Guys this is kinda phase 1. As we progress you'll be getting much more.

Our approach is very deliberate because we're being careful to not break much as we make incremental steps (this is a big delta in terms of Command logic). We could of just done a full build in the background and released in months but given posts we really felt people wanted some of the smaller pieces involved with it. So we made it happen.

As it stand I've found air ops to be much easier to plan and execute. Kind of leaves me wondering how I ever managed without it, lol.
