Dobey455 -> [FIXED/ADDED B524] RAAF Hornet Upgrades (4/26/2014 7:34:13 AM)

Hi Guys, I noticed there are several features which were added to RAAF Hornets during their upgrade cycles (HUG) which don't appear in the Command Database. I wanted to get any other information\input that you might have, to add to or to correct my observations below, before I request a DB update. The A/C affected would be the last two models of the F/A-18 A/B in RAAF service F/A-18A (2007) #2046 F/A-18A (2010) #2097 F/A-18B (2007) #3283 F/A-18B (2010) #3284 Comms\Datalinks Field Should include: Link 16 JTIDS (Added during HUG 2.2) AIM-120 command datalink - (Should actually probably be present from 2002 model onward) Properties Field Should Include: Helmet mounted sight (JHMCS) (Added during HUG 2.2) Mounts\Stores\Weapons Field AN/ALE-39 should be replaced by AN/ALE-47 CMDS (part of HUG 2.2) Some Questions: 1) The Command DB shows all versions of the RAAF Hornet (1986 - 2010) using the AN\ALR-67(v1) RWR. From the information I've found the AN\ALR-67 was installed during HUG 2.3 after the failure to integrate the AN\ALR-2002. If so then what RWR did the earlier models actually use? Is the HUG 2.3 AN\ALR-67 simply a later version of the same system used by earlier models? (ie should version 2 or later be included on the 2007 and 2010 models?) 2) Should the AGM-154C (BROACH) be included as an "Aircraft Stores" option for the 2010 model? The RAAF purchased these weapons in 2010 and I have references for them being carried by the F-18F Super Hornets, I have also seen some photos of them carried on the RAAF classic Hornets, so it looks like they are employed by the entire fleet, but would love something in writing if there is a source around. Thanks for any info.
