Windom Earle -> [FIXED B524] Lock up... (5/1/2014 2:11:17 PM)

CMANO still locks up with larger scenarios from time to time (as of B521). Waiting cursor appears (a circle - for my Windows 7) and the game freezes... Task manager shows allocated memory size being constantly changed but no memory read or written.
Good thing that in most cases it is possible to use autosave to continue playing.

Hello,

Can you please one or more auto save files for investigation.

OK.
Latest autosave before a lock up:

Found it, thanks.

Fixed in Build 524.

So when can we expect build 522 and then 524

The next public build will be released when we deem it sufficiently stable and complete.

Thank you

Just wondering when I can get back to playing the scenarios I'm enjoying

Not sure if this is related but in some test scenarios I've found that one reason why the game locks up seems to be if you give the AI too many targets to choose from. I set up a strike mission against a British air base with 110 units in the group; when I designated 20 or 30 of those units as possible targets, the game froze up; when I only designated 6, it slowed down when the Tu-22s were about to launch missiles but once they had chosen their targets it was back up to speed.

(By the way, the nuke's "radius of doom" effect works fine...I set up buildings and town markers a few miles outside of the air base and some were destroyed if they were close enough but others survived (and some survived but were under the expanding white circle just as it faded, so I assume they were "standing but maybe poisoned.")
