Did a search and could not find any post on this . Ex.- Lt. Hooper leads his Raiders into an ambush, the Jap cave tears them apart, after Hooper and his squad are decimated, they fire smoke and retreat. But guess what !! Cooper is the sole survivor. I have found this to be the norm with all nations and experience and morale levels. Occasionly Hooper does die and get replaced, but I believe the casualty rate should be much greater. I play at times with C&C on and off, it seems to make no dfference. Just wondereing if you all get the same results. By the way, this is like ******mas in March waiting for 5.0 and the Mega Thank Guys, Greg Kilroy

By the way, this is like ******mas in March waiting for 5.0 and the Mega Thank Guys, Greg Kilroy MINDSPY having the Leader survive is the pits since that would raise some pretty awful questions on his Heroic abilities. however if was momentarily dazed then managed to slink of and not be killed then we are a horrible lot for questioning his Heroic conduct. it is a tough one. commanders should not be used like assault or shock troops if you don't buy that then we can guess how often you are called upon to lead or evaluate those who do ... i would let it slide since the game serves many audiences at once. campaings to scen designers it would be pretty bad to queash one end of the spectrum to aid the i's and t's of the other spectrum!!!! I know what you mean I have tried many times to get postings that i know are out there but for some reason they don't come up and i swear they did not so ong ago. My next best suggestion to not being able to find a posting that you know was talked about is to go by the author. Now on the subject of this Kilroy bit I would key in Wild Bill Wilder and Pack Rat I remember they had one going not so long ago in the fall. Also Bob Wallace and others have come on from time to time to explain how certain shortcomings (our perspective sometimes) has it dual purpose role in the campaigns. Even if you don;t accept some of the happenings in the game you must keep in mind that in a campaign where core forces are bought and players spend hundreds of hours getting to elite status asking for a game change that could kill off their ahrd earned efforts quickly before they ahve had a chance to drink their coffee and mull over how to torture you for thinking it you well reaaaallly shouldn't stray into that water as instead of being in the reeds you might end breathing through the reeds to avoid detection!!!!!!!
