As topic.

It's nice that I can play in windowed, but the borders kind of defeat the purpose. Is there any way to run the game borderless?

Doesn't the game pretty much default to a borderless, full screen, window? Or is that just mine?

Have a look in the Startup.ini file, if if does not look like this then add the ' to the screen width and height.

'Distant Worlds startup settings

'screenwidth 1024
'screenheight 768
'hyperdrivespeed 1.6

The "fullscreen" is actually a borderless window.
