Game Icons too small (Full Version)

I play my computer games on a big screen tv, that said 1920x1080, The graphics look good
but the icons are too small. Is there a way / mod / setting to increase the size. I don't
switching my native resolutions. I really bothers me in this game. I was hoping the new
version for steam would have facilitated a nod to more unconventional PC setups. The days
of the smaller monitors are long past :)We can play PC games on our TV's just like the
console kids :P I am hoping I just missed a setting somewhere.

I am quite happy with my 17'' and 15'' monitors as are a lot of other folks [:)]

Big screens are fine for console games and PC games that are similarly gifted with fancy graphics, I would imagine DW would look quite good on one but as with most games of this type they are not designed for that, give it a few years though, maybe the TVs will do the scaling themselves?

Partially agree with you OP. For me the UI is pretty un-even. Some parts are fine, but some parts of it are too small like eg. the vertical bar on the left side. Everything accessed through that ar is also quite tiny like eg. construction ships names, etc.

There is also a problem with some of the fonts used being really unclear in certain situations. That is mainly problem with diplomacy screen where empire names can range from really clear to really hard to read. Depending on color combonations. Second problem seems is simply the size in some parts of the UI as I mentioned already.

This is with my 23" screen at 1920x1080 resolution.
