Two things, first as the moose said, crossing a river into an enemy hex triggers an automatic shock attack. The other is when you are moving into an enemy held hex, you usually want all your troops to arrive at the same time. You can get an entire stack of units to move at the same time by setting one unit to move, then setting all other units in the hex to follow. If you want to leave any units behind (say to keep the siege in place, just go and cancel the move orders for that one unit. If you are moving units from multiple hexes, start with the biggest stack, start it moving, then the next turn, start moving units from other hexes unless they are motorized, you may want to wait a couple of turns based on how fast the largest stack is moving. Anyway, the goal is for the tallest stack to arrive first followed by smaller concentrations. If you timing it perfectly they will all arrive at once. Bill
