Disco Duck -> Thousand Island War victories (6/4/2014 11:57:06 PM) What is the fastest that anyone has taken both Kiska and Attu? I have had games when the intelligence screen shows major victory for me (allied) but at the end of the game it shows only a minor victory. I haven't figured that one out yet. Any suggestions?

On the last turn of a scenario other than the grand campaign, points are allocated for damaged ships. If one side has a lot more damaged ships, that can change the victory level. There may be other things tallied at the end, I can't remember for sure at the moment. Bill

Disco Duck -> RE: Thousand Island War victories (6/5/2014 2:31:17 AM) Yes I am talking about the Aleutian campaign scenario. I have played games where damaged ship points were only 6. Hardly enough to make a big difference. I was thinking their might be something for how fast you took the islands. I just realized I posted it as thousand island war instead of the Thousand mile war.
