Hi

I keep on getting an "interrupted" message right at completion time for this download. Attempted it 4 times now and exactly the same thing happens. Trying to Resume, it starts from afresh. Is there a problem/anyone else having this issue?

Left it nearly 24 hours and still the same issue. Note, this is the download from the main Matrix site news item, not through the game (the update feature hasn't worked for me since release).

I note that on the main Product page, the latest download still shows as 1.1.7.?.

Just watched it now. Got to 99%, 5 seconds to go - and it just freezes - it says the download has been interrupted. I simply can't download to completion. Help:).

I faintly recall an issue like this where the problem was that the download was being saved to a folder that the user didn't have write permission for.

Have you tried saving it to a different folder and/or are you the Admin User on the PC?

Yes, I'm the Admin. Have downloaded all other updates to that folder in the past. I'll try a different folder.

Same issue in another folder. Then tried downloading direct to C drive and it brought up a warning I didn't have permission to do that. So I don't think it's permission rights. I've download a (much smaller) patch for Distant Worlds today which completed just fine. I'll disable Virusscanner and see if that works.

Turning off Virus scanner (McAfee) during download did the trick. Downloaded fully.
