Group of 4 F-80C chasing one Etenard IVM, internal guns only. Airplanes close with enemy until it is exactly on the Air-to-Air range ring. At this point they reduce speed and hold range so that they never actually fire at the enemy. Hold fire is not active on group.
To bypass this behavior I need to manually set course and speed on the group so they close with the enemy. When they get close enough, they do fire. If I just leave them to their own devices, they just follow the enemy forever (unless it does something stupid that makes it come to close to my planes.)
