Thanks for the tip, Rasputitsa. I was able to get rid of the armored in city problem.
Interestingly, though, NoPanzers vs Panzers mod DOES work in my version. Inf attacks armor at 90%.
Everything else works, including rivers, except terrain--which is still pretty major, but at least that armor problem is solved.

The build number can be found from your Steam library. Right click on the game title, choose "Properties" then "Local Files." There you'll find your "Current Content Build ID."

OK thanks for the info, that's something I did not know about STEAM [:)], my build no, ID is the same 330510

Now I am completely confused, the 'Armour in City' modifier acting when there is no city, which wasn't there last night, now applies when there is no city. 'Weather modifier' which works as a Defender modifier and Attacker modifier, is sometimes reversed. The 'Armour attacker' bonus (Panzers/noPanzers) is working, but not in the sense I thought it should, but that's probably my mis-understanding of how it worked.

Might be something to do with whether a nation is selected to AI, or Human control. I don't so much mind what the game is doing (although working right is good [:)]), just so long as I know what it is doing, but that might take some time to work out.

We are going to update the ToF to SWiE latest version (as well as SoP in the close future), this means that we will e able to fix the games more efficiently.

However the STEAM version of Time of Fury will not include PBEM++

BUMP

I would like to see the 'Terrain' and 'City' Defence combat odds modifiers fixed, they have been broken since v1.01 and, although most things can be fixed with mods and adjustments, this is one item that only the Devs can repair. These two modifiers only work for Poland (#1 in the counties list) and don't get applied to the other nations.[:(]

v1.05 was issued as a self install update, even if there are delays and a comprehensive update isn't in prospect, can a fix be posted as a self install correction to the combat modifiers.

v1.06 on STEAM has introduced its own problems, in that the 'Armored in City' defence combat modifier is being applied in attacks on armoured units even when the combat is not in a city, so staying with v1.05 for now.

C'mon wastelands, I've supported you guys from the get go.
(even World's of Magic)

please fix SOP, TOF and SWiE or get them to a even/ level playable (even editable/ moddable) place.
Then draw a clear line in the sand.

Although I enjoy this game, I'm interested in the follow-up items mentioned above as well.

Has Wastelands published an end of 2014 / 2015 roadmap for the allocation / focus of their Dev resources?

It seems a shame that such promising work will be abandoned and never reach its full potential.

Given the track-record that I can observe and the current feed-back, it would be beneficial for WI / Slitherine to give TOF (at least) a major shot in the arm before moving onto other major projects.

Doing this would repair some of the damage done to customer satisfaction and promote confidence for purchasing new releases.

^^ My 2 Cents ^^

My pension doesn't extend to doing Christmas.
Maybe I can afford a second tin of beans?
