Hi all,

Just lost my two largest troop armies to rebellions.

Army 1: I conquered a bug planet and shortly after the residents rebel taking my entire army with them.
Army 2: Enemy conquered one of my planets and I drop troops to retake it. During the fight the residents rebel and the colony becomes mine again; however my troops now become a hostile, invading, independent army.

Is there something I did wrong or is this unintentional? How do you avoid this?

Quirks in the system.I have had the same thing happen.

If a world hates you enough or you're just unlucky this can happen. It sucks, but it's not too common.

Recommondation: Punishment through orbital bombardment.

(or you can vet up an entirely new army by overwhelming your old army ;) )

Yeah orbital bombardment will solve this. They are mere bugs after all, certainly they are of no use to you. After all, we can't have bugs in space, that's just unrealistic [sarcasm].

Thanks for the insight all. Unfortunately in the second case, I lost my army to myself and it was a planet of my fellow Ugnarians....so I would have felt a little guilty liquidating them.
