DONNIE67 -> database image download problems (6/29/2014 12:32:12 AM)

Hello

May I please have some assistance in downloading the database images?

After the file is downloaded it shows up as a file and not an application and thus no way to unzip it.

The unzip process works with the build downloads but not the database downloads.

The internet security program has been disabled during these attempts.

Thank you

The last image pack (I assume you are talking about DB3000) is a 7z file. You can use different applications, but I use Winrar to open the file. I believe the game patches can be extracted as it includes a self extractor built in.

Thanks for your help. I was able to download and extract the database. It went into the ..images/db3000 folder

However, the images are not coming up in the view unit tab in the game.

Are the images and descriptions viewed separate from the unit view window in the game?

Not every unit has an image. Also, make sure you are looking at DB3000 and not Cold War. The CW db has a lot fewer images.

I am still not able to view any images. Any further suggestions?

Thank you

Nope...sorry. Maybe a screenshot of your Command directory can clue someone in.

Donnie, correct paths for db images are "...\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\DB\Images\CWDB\" for cold war era and "...\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\DB\Images\DB3000\" for modern era.

figured out the issue- it was unzipping to create a db3000 sub directory of ...db3000/

Thank you again for everyone's assistance.

You're welcome, I'm glad it's ok[8D]
