TIK -> TIK vs CGGrognard - Custom Battle (TIK006) (7/29/2014 7:22:49 PM)

In my quest to create balanced multiplayer battles, I've designed several scenarios that more or less make things equal for both sides. This is one of them.

Close Combat Gateway to Caen CGGrognard vs TIK - Multiplayer

Be the judge - do you think this is a balanced scenario??? If not, do you have any suggestions?

CGGrognard showed the second battle we fought, so I thought I'd show the first. The difference is, he won this one [;)]

If anything for both the battles, there's not enough infantry to go around for either side. Considering the infantry command will more likely have to be involved to patch holes in the line, there's a greater chance that they could be eliminated, thus opening the path to a win be destroying the opponents morale.
Both games were good indeed, but I think you're on the right track of making some maps smaller. Which should be more fun with more infantry.

We could try these battles with infantry only if you'd prefer? [;)]

You're right about the number of infantry, especially for the Brits in this case. The good thing about smaller maps is it forces both sides into a head on clash. Usually results in a lot more casualties and shorter battles. Morale will have to be turned off, and the time limit either reduced or removed too. It should also improve the AI for those non-multiplayers out there.

I'm slowly working through all the maps and should have them all done in a week or two.
