Kilravock -> RE: Why do AI fleets never attack monsters? (8/4/2014 9:08:39 AM)

I was kinda of vague earlier. What I meant to add is that if you build enough ships that are left on automated, they will over time attack the monsters in your territory, that is systems that have a colony, or a station, or a mining ship with an escort. They don't actively go looking for them, they just attack them if they are in the same system. This is why it takes awhile. Some monsters will respawn too, like how any planet with spice can have a space slug pop up every once in awhile. The sliver mist are random events and require special tactics which the AI is not up to doing unless they have a fleet in system. Yeah fleets will attack too if they are in system.
