OTS has been working almost non-stop over the past 48 hours to get a website with file hosting up and running. It's a start, much more info needs to be added and the file system for uploading your mods needs to get assembled, BUT we can host our patches. So stop reading, follow the link below to the site, Click the Game Updates tab and click on the file at the bottom of the page there. It is a ZIP file so let it unzip to folders so things go into the right place! Link to awesome site under construction: On Target Simulations NOTE: The file should be bug free, but for the love of Pete scan the download just to be safe! Hopefully at some point I can figure out scanning site files. [X(] Yes we rock![sm=00000436.gif]

Great that you've got your own web site. A small request - could you consider changing the colour scheme? Red on grey is very hard to read.

I'll be tweaking all sorts of stuff for a while. Some of the font and colors are hard to read and I'm still learning all the controls for both the server side software and the web design stuff. OJT at its finest.[sm=00000028.gif]

We are almost the man. Apparently, we did not get the toggle for Sudden Death on/off in the PBEM setup as we said we would. Should give Rob something to fix this weekend. Sometimes you just miss something with all the other things going on. [sm=Christo_pull_hair.gif]

We are getting closer to functional. I will make an official announcement of the use of the Content Center in a few days when it is all up and tested out.

Capn, in the Content Center, would it help to distinguish between "Custom Map Graphics" (replacement maps, to be installed in the Maps/Custom folder) and "Maps" (png + fp9, to be installed in the Maps folder)? William

William, a very good point since we have two distinct cases. I'll make adjustments to the site tonight to clear this up.

Nice site and a good central location for content. One point to consider is perhaps a descriptive "tooltip" or an "?" info button to get a brief description of the content. The 3rd party dev can add a para of description when submitting the content. This will make it easier to determine if you want to grab that file or no. Other than that, nice and clean!

Cafe, if you know of a Wordpress tool that will do that with an upload/download capability let me know. Right now I'm using File Away and that does not give me any info tagging ability. I've been looking, but I'm way to much of a website designer noob and my time to learn is limited with everything else. So any help is well appreciated.

I'm not a web dev, more like a producer, so I'm used to coming up with an idea and letting the smart folks implement ;) However a quick search netted me this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-tooltips/ EDIT: ah, just read your post more clearly and noticed the File Away ref. Hmmm, getting that info into the Tooltip tag would require some front-end jiggery pokery. I'll keep looking.
