santino250 -> Pilots Not Increasing skills in Training (9/28/2014 4:58:37 PM)

Hi All

I have pilots at many bases in center of USA, Mostly 4 engine bombers, and med. bombers that have been training for over 2 yrs.. and still have there training skills below 50... Like they are all set at 100% training Airport... and their experience levels are around 45, but the skill level of ground is below 60, and defnese below 50...

I've installed better commanders or groups and base... What is going on... It never did this with the older Upgrades...

Help Please

I noticed if the supplies is low (under 20.000?) the training is halted.

I checked some group in USA and they were all, 50 exp, 70+ ground skill and 60~ def skill. [&:]

If you want to increase exp and def skill change the training, train your 4E for naval search, recon or navB(or general training). Once they reached 70 in skill the training is pretty useless. You have to increase others skill to increase exp and def skill. As Jap, what I do is to train ground skill to 65-70, then general to reach 55-60 exp, then I use the pilot on single engine bomber in China to reach 70 exp and 80 ground bombing skill.

If you want to increase training efficiency, use 80+ pilots as flying leader in the squadron, if you don't get some just put a 70+ pilot as flying leader. Select a commander with a *. If he don't get the skill you need, put the pilot you want for leader in the squadron and send the actual leader in reserve by clicking on him. If your pilot have the higher rank he will become leader.

I think the perfect settings for maximum training efficiency is :
-Size 10 airfield, supplies hub
-air HQ (even if it's not the HQ of the squadron)
-80+ exp as flying leader with the maximum leadership.
-squadron with the same number of plane than pilot. It's faster than fullfill squadron but you get a bit less pilot and it's easier to manage pilot.
-100% training, 0 range
-pilot with the same exp, (40-50; 50-60 mostly)
-moving pilot when they reach 70 in skill they train for

In my training program, for bomer, I get rookie squadrons set on airfield bombing, I fullfill them.
I check them twice a month, if I find some guy, 50 exp or around 70 in skill, I move them to anothers squadron with higher exp pilot (50-60) set on general bombing, so they get higher def skill and exp.
