Hey' y'all... For years now I've been using some MOD files I whipped up for the German Leader portraits in East Front. They replace all the goofier-looking German leader "head-shots" that come with the original game. Just thought I'd share 'em with anyone who might be interested.

There are three image files (BMP format), which you simply drop into your EAST FRONT folder in the main game directory (overwriting the existing ones).
You can download them by right-clicking the links below and selecting "Save Target As":

All three files need to be used together.

NOTE: These files will remain available for the next month or so (into November). After that I plan to host them somewhere else. I also intend to someday MOD the leader portraits of the other nationalities.

Like berto said you got Jimmy Colburn from my favorite war move "Cross of Iron" and Robert Vaughn from "Remagen Bridge"

What program did you use to shrink them and still keep such good detail? What settings did you use etc. I can imagine Red Victory units being B&W photos now.

The program used was IrfanView, which is freeware (costs nothing to download and use).

I don't recall exact settings, but I'm certainly no "graphics guy" and IrfanView proved quite easy to use and experiment with.
