Is this format going to be the replacement for the old way the devs posted their beta builds?

thewood1 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 12:27:30 PM)

Can you point to exactly where it is? All I can find ia one listed as 1.05.

thewood1 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 1:01:22 PM)

I also noticed the start up menu for Command says I have the latest version when I click on check for updates.

blueduck -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 1:59:30 PM)

All I see there is ver. 1.05

Same here, I only see v1.05

VPaulus -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 3:29:53 PM)

Gerry Edwards -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 3:32:41 PM)

We seem to have had an issue with our members area, we are working to remedy this issue and will have a fix soon.

thewood1 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 3:41:37 PM)

How about putting a direct link instead of a page link...obviously your information is not correct.

mercho -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 3:54:44 PM)

On top of this forum page click members. then on the members page, on the right side of your name click -my products-. then on the right side where command is listed, there is the -registered- button. Click on that and you will find the link to the 1.05.2 beta patch.

hope i could help...

thewood1 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 3:57:42 PM)

a) it wasn't there the first four time I checked.
b) Can we make it a little easier to find. Or is the plan to make it so onerous as to drive people to Steam
c) Thank you.

FrancescoT58 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 4:23:58 PM)

The link above has been fixed, We apologize for the inconvenience.

mikkey -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 4:58:55 PM)

After login you can click on "My games" (1) and click on "Registered" in "Command: Modern Air Naval Operations Wargame of the Year Edition" and in this section you have new v.1.05.2 update (2)
If you do not have registered Command in Members club, so can you register in section "Register Your Game" (3)

Dannyp19 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 8:31:20 PM)

Ive tried to register and it says my ser# is already in use. What gives.

What was wrong with the old way to get patches? This is as aggravating as going to my local DMV!!

Curious -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 9:27:37 PM)

This update (1.05.2 Beta) changes the "build no." of the game to 573. However, if the "check for update" button on the game's opening screen is used it will re-install build 570. So, if you install the 1.05.2 Beta "update" don't use the "official" update procedure, unless you want to un-update the game from build 573 back to 570. By the way, fantastic game.

thewood1 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/7/2014 10:56:10 PM)

I'm Curious...Did you mean 570/573...you panicked me for a minute.

You're right. It should be 570/573. Sorry about that. I'll correct the post.

Well, that would depend on internet connection speed. It's 500MB+.

jadei -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/9/2014 12:06:56 AM)

Nice, I opted into the beta in Steam and the download was only 29mb. Is the Steam beta the same as from the members area? I verified it is 1.05.2 from the whatsnew.pdf in the install directory.

Rongor -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/9/2014 5:31:34 AM)

So why did no one official point the steam users at that option?

Casinn -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/9/2014 11:54:42 AM)

Guessing it's because Steam added it when they wanted to, like they usually seem to so with things. Nice to see beta opt-in there.

sherlock1 -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/9/2014 11:56:55 AM)

Downloaded the beta installed it and still reads build 573

ziolo -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/9/2014 9:49:19 PM)

Bug found will be sent.

Count Sessine -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/10/2014 10:23:34 AM)

I would really prefer these updates from Google download or others - the Matrix FTP server is not good friends with my computer.

Dide -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/10/2014 11:12:52 AM)

It's very slow, 30 KB/sec (in the evening,) and 200 KB/sec the next morning.(Download usually at 970 KB/sec).

iGotoSleep -> RE: Version 1.05.2 Beta is now available for testing (10/10/2014 11:53:43 AM)

That's one advantage of putting the beta's on Steam - their content delivery network is optimised for this type of thing. I opted into the beta and it was just a small update that came down in a few seconds.
