Thomasew -> Can't control CMANO sound volume independently (10/8/2014 6:07:33 AM)

Hi, With the most recent beta update, i.e. 1.05.2, I can no longer control the volume of the game sounds, independent of the Master Volume. Often, when I play CMANO, .. I may be doing other things on my computer that require their own sound levels e.g. watching a video or something etc., which I would do on one of my other 2 monitors. [:)] Prior to this latest update, .. in the Windows sound mixer, I would for example set CMANO sounds to be 10% of my 75% Master Sound level, .. and set Media Player at 50%, .. etc. etc. .. and the game sounds would stay at 10%. .. now, with the 1.05.2 patch .. irrespective of where I set the CMANO slider e.g. 10%, .. it will push past that to the 75% level. The game now has direct control of that slider, .. and will set it's level to the Master level e.g. 75% .. nothing more heart-stopping, than when you're watching a movie or something, on the PC, .. when that 'Vampire' alert, at a ridiculously high volume, .. screeches at you. [X(] Given that the sounds were a big feature of the 1.05.2 patch, .. can this sound level issue be fixed? Failing that, .. could a sound level value be added to the command.ini file? Unfortunately, as I tend to multi-task a lot [:)], .. I've had to regress to version 1.05. [:(] Cheers Tom
