pchandler43 -> Distorted User Interface (10/16/2014 2:29:30 AM)

Ok so, out of the blue, I have started to get a weird user interface problem with my Steam edition of the game. When a unit starts moving, if I have that unit selected, the user interface buttons on the right side of the screen (Sensors, Aircraft, Weapons) start to distort and it looks like they're zoomed in on. The text of the buttons becomes very large and the whole unit information screen becomes distorted. If I deselect, and then re-select the unit that fixes it, temporarily, until the unit moves again.

I was going to attempt to try and manually update the game. But Steam, and the devs (apparently) in their infinite wisdom do not provide serial keys for the Steam version of the game. Or, at least, not in a place I can find it. I checked both my purchase email receipt and steam itself, and the key is not listed anywhere. So...no manually updating for this guy (thanks for that).

Any ideas about what could be causing this? I saw several threads with the EXACT same issue, and no response from any tech support reps that actually addresses the issue.

Please help...

I feel for you!

I have the same issue and have tried a lot to no success, including, changing resolution, changing display settings, updating drivers, disabling steam overlay, etc.
It is a pain in the butt, but at least you can still work around it by just deselecting the unit then reselecting it every time you need to see a detail about it or interact with one of the Unit Status controls.

I do not get the issue on my Surface Pro, just my win7 desktop PC; which is sad because my desktop is significantly more powerful and capable at running the game.
I am hoping to see the issue addressed but if I come up with a better workaround or fix than I have now I'll let you know.
