will be there "discouts" for running more programs with similiar core ? What we currently have is that some programs share common hardware components, and the game won't charge you for components you already have. So it can be quite an interesting strategy to compare programs in order to reuse as much stuff as possible (that's where the Lunar Gemini's shine, as the capsule is the same). Also, the 'R&D Transfers' take into consideration similarities and differences between hardware components. Yes, developping a reliable biosatellite will give you a small R&D starting bonus for manned programs [;)] quote:
for russian space program was "rule" that human rated rockets get only best manufactured parts, while rest, which was still in manufacture limits, get to non-human rockets :). Well, the game definitively reflects that. Non-man-rated launchers are quite a deal in comparison of their crewed counterparts ! But they tend to be a bit less reliable, too. [:)]
