poosd -> Data base swapping (10/20/2014 8:52:22 PM)

Good day all,

I have created a sandbox scenario using generic cities, single unit airbases, ports and some SOSUS stations for
and East Coast CWDB ASW practice area. It runs from the Caribbean north to Nova Scotia and inland as far as
Atlanta Georgia. As I said, I used generic CWDB items. Now I want to recreate the same sandbox practice area,
give it a different name, but be able to access the DB3000 units.
How can I port all of my cities, ports, airbases and SOSUS station created from the CWDB over to this new sandbox
scenario? (if that's even possible. Trying to save some work ya know)

Any input from anyone would be appreciated. I've got a lot to learn yet.

Thanks,
Dean

Here's a possible solution, I think this will work

1. Highlight all units you want in the DB3000 version
2. save as import
3. open saved import with the notepad
4. change the "DB ID" to 1, which is the DB3000
5. change the "Member DBIDs" to the corresponding DB3000 units

Example pic shows the "1" for the DB3000 and "1315" is the SAM Bn(SA-3b Goa)

Also, if there is a ship than you need to change the "MemberType" to "Command_Core.Ship"

Hopefully this makes sense
