Im at mission 6 now with the Germans and Ive been granted an air strike. It seems to trigger automatically in a random turn. Suddenly it says the stukas are flying by and I get to pick a target. Is that how it is supposed to work? Random auto-activation?

Ive checked the manual but I cant find anything about this.

Yes,normally the entrance of the aircraft is random.

As indicated on page 105 of the game manual: The air support enters on the NEXT impulse after either player rolls doubles for ANY game-related function.
