poosd -> Ground unit below sea level + (11/22/2014 10:04:05 PM)

Hello all, Anyone point me in the right direction for the following answers? 1. I tried to add a SAM site out in the California desert. Probably managed to accidentally find Death Valley. Anyway, got error..."Can not place unit here. Below sea level." True...but the ground at Death Valley and I'm sure some other places on earth IS below sea level. That should not preclude ground units being there. I'm on build 570 (too much of a chicken to try the latest Beta 1.05.2? I believe). I thought I read a post about this issue but can't find anything on it now. 2. Did the issue about aircraft being able operate at altitudes below 300 ft. ever get resolved. I was doing a sandbox exercise with HMS Sheffield vs. Super Entendars/Exocets and to save me couldn't get my aircraft below 300 ft. even if I tried to set it manually to a lower altitude (sea state was set to dead calm). 2a. On this same point, the Sea Dart on the Sheffield has a minimum altitude of 100ft. yet still engages the Exocet coming in at a sea skimming altitude of 30 ft.). When all is said and done, Sea Dart (Mod. 0, 1975)ends up with only an 8% "to hit" chance, but I would think that the minimum engagement altitudes would be inviolate. I was unable to "exactly" recreate the "Sheffield incident" due to the above issues, but got pretty close and had some really interesting results. In one case, chaff worked as advertised, in another, Jamming saved the ship. And in one case the Sheffield's main gun got a lucky hit and took out the missile. Like I said before, 8% is about as good as anyone gets against the Exocet. 3. When the customers receive a response from the moderators, for either a database addition, change, or some type of game mechanics issue that says "logged", when does that change, addition, modification come out and how does a user get it. Do database updates come out in between build updates or separate? Thank you for your time. Dean
