I love this!! I need to pass it on to the physics/science teachers I know.

Interesting timing as I just watched the first episode of Carl Sagan's Cosmos last night, which was hugely influential on me as a ten year old.

Yepperino. And Stephen Hawking says that a species that develops a true AI will soon become extinct. So how 'bout a universe of galaxies, filled with artificial mechanical intelligences, and a subset of biological lifeforms who just ain't got there yet?
