Grenadier -> Fred Chlanda needs our prayers (3/31/2001 9:00:00 AM)

Fred had a stroke 5 weeks ago and just came home today. When I called his wife said he was doing better but not up to turning on the computer yet. She apologized for not being able to use E mail to notify anyone about what happened to him. Please send him best wishes for a speedy recovery. Lets flood his mailbox so he knows how we all feel about him and his invaluable contributions to the wargaming community

Ops..I am very sorry but I can't understand what a "stroke" can be (I speak a foreign language..on my dictionary there are ambiguos translations for that ) I read that 5 weeks had passed since Mr. Fred had this trouble..that is a very long period..fortunately now he is back home but it seems it will take a while for things going all right again.. So when you will read about this maybe you are back at your best working speed as usual. I would like to tell you that I appreciated very much that sort of 'secret power' you added to SPWAW with your programs.. Have a good health..there is still a lot of things that you can give us !! ruxius... one of the many you don't know anything about but who knows something important about you..

I've asked the Korps chaplain to lead a minute of silence for Fred before we move out to engage the Tommies. Best wishes on a speedy recovery. (heads bowed in silence)
