Does depots priorities’ work following way:
First each depot figure out how many supplies they need. Then priority 4 depots go first looking supplies from other depots up to freight limits rail lines and sea lines and then priority 3 depots etc. After depots have done this then units take supplies from witch ever depots they can. There is also some left over part of freight that lower priority level depots can use unless priority is 0 then depot don’t move any supplies in but always move stored supplies out from depot.
Depots also try to stockpile extra supplies if there is some freight capacity left after needs are covered and priority 4 depots use any remaining freight capacity first and then lower priority depots.
If I have understood correctly it doesn’t matter what priority you set for those depots that can take supply directly from national pools (I mean star marked depots) as depots higher on food chain always knows how much depots that are lower on the food chain needs and try to fulfill their needs as best as they can.
Is there something I have understood wrong?
