Up at 3:30 AM because the nurses thought it was funny to call me about a mother with a fever. FAM: Call me again if the baby gets one <click>* So I gave up and got ready for work. Now I have extra time and I discovered the most astounding bit of television trivia. Are there former watchers of Breaking Bad? There is an opening to an episode where airliner parts fall from the sky. When I saw this I was pretty sure the writer had lived in LA in the late 80's. Then I discovered one of the main characters in the show has an unmistakable link to that same event. Anyone know? *This is not what actually happened

Kongo confirmed sunk on the basis of seaplane ground losses. Nice! New Mexico and Mississippi barely scratched. No fire. No flotation damage, just some topside scratches. JJ pays a penalty for hubris and for not attacking Pearl on Dec 7. KB has disappeared again...most likely N or NE of Brisbane where we have no recon but our recon West of Noumea is a bit patchy because all the PBY's at Noumea are shot up. An AE is headed to Noumea tonight to rearm the BB's. Most likely, JJ will send the KB to try to overwhelm the fighters at Noumea. Something bad may likely happen to New Mexico and Mississippi but that is why we have more ships. Noumea at 34% runway damage, Tanna at 70%, Norfolk almost level 2 with no damage.

The real point is you can find a role for the USN prewar BB's other than bombardment duty. I'd say they have a 70% chance of becoming artificial reefs in the next two weeks. [:)]

The BBs get an assist for crippling her first. The Japanese get an assist for cutting her loose on her own after the first couple of hits. [:D]
