Now the Navy problem I have is with those Italians being able to buy battleships as off board artillery in campaigns no matter where the fight is taking place. C'mon now, Fondouk is over 50 miles from the sea.

Well, look on the bright side of this particular naval "bug". It means some enterprising soul can create a SP Naval Mod--all ships, all navies, all the time!! With all water maps, of course, or a few islands, reefs and such thrown in. Ship vs. ship, destroyers, battleships, PT boats, the works. Probably could figure out how to launch planes from carriers, too!!

No s*%^! Freaking Italian battleships are pounding me in the 5th scenario of a US Army campaign. I was wondering what the deal was :-). I cant even get air support in this assault! That should be a fixed asset. Anywho, there is a bunch on the run so despite the Italian offboard firepower, I should be rolling them up shortly :-)

I again would say that deployment of naval units into ground hexes should be limited.. While not forbidding it entirely I would however need a check with nearby hexes of water...this could be a nice solution in the 'middle'

O.K. with this photos. But don't you see that this navy's were in a shore place (therefore in the game it must to be so !) Leo.
