I've had the game since Christmas Day. I was having quite a time breaking through the German line in "Salerno To Rome". Read the forums for some help and I now have I think the 75% solution of air power. I've still got a lot to learn but it sure put the Germans on the run.

The learning curve is steep but what a game, unbelievable! So much fun to learn. It's quite a step up from WITE and I'm enjoying it so much. Keep up the good work.

Air warfare and amphibious landings and paratroopers are tools for allied to break very strong german defensive lines it is bit different than WITE where supporting attacks with artillery and rocket artillery divisions were tools for Soviet to break even strongest defensive lines.

The air war is very subtle, and full of so many options. That more than anything else is the Allies "Big Stick", and if properly managed it makes the difference between staying on the beach and breaking out, or being thrown back. It is an awesome game. It's saved a few of mine from disaster, one in particular I had invaded in bad weather, lost two beaches out of 6, but my Air Force saved my butt.
