xavierv -> Simultaneous release of weapons (1/2/2015 10:16:05 PM)

My question: Is it possible at all to release bombs/missile simultaneously or at least speed up the 5 - 6 seconds delay ? If yes how ? Yesterday on prime time French TV there was a show to celebrate the 15 years of the CdeG aircraft carrier. They showed a video from campaign above Libya that triggered my curiosity: A Rafale could be seen releasing 3 or 4 AASM simultaneously. I looked for a similar video avaiable online. This is the closest I could find (2 AASM released virtually at the same time): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfpCqH5Bx_g Some other videos from Libya show targets getting hit by multiple AASM at the same time. I just tried it in CMANO and as far as the Rafale goes, theres is a good 5 or 6 seconds between the release of each AASM bombs (both in auto and manual) Looking if this was the case for other platform, I tried the same with a Typhoon and GBU-16. It is faster but there is still at least 1 to 2 seconds between each weapon release. I did a quick search and it looks like Typhoon too can release bombs simultaneously (and probably most modern jets with modern smart ammo I guess): http://theaviationist.com/2013/04/19/typhoon-dual-attack/
