Currently playing Road to Leningrad scenario against my buddy. Pretty good game so far. There is one major hindrance though - I can't use Air Transport mode for some reason.

I managed to use transport planes to drop in some fuel to my mobile units on two first turns. For some reason I couldn't use bombers for that purpose on those two turns. After two first turn I can't even use transport planes any more. When I try to drop some supplies message pops up saying that I have no transport aircraft available. I know it's not true since I've got a healthy amount of transport planes and bombers with no MP spent.

My buddy is dropping supplies from the air every turn.

Perhaps anyone has experienced similar hindrance in the past and can share any insights?

I just experienced something like that in the 41 campaign game. It is turn 3 and I am having trouble with AG North transport units. The units are 0%. The base is in clear terrain. Air recce missions and AG Center transport missions are all that has been flown. The AG North transports won't fly.

are you within 5 MP from converted rail hexes?
last patch does not allow bombers to drop fuel anymore

Appears that is exactly the problem for my current case. [&:]

Thanks. Never took the notice to heart.

Wish there was some indicator of the specific problem or a warning pop up when moving transports beyond the 5 MP. Or when viewing the air base details there would be an indicator besides the air unit name.

It seems nearly everybody (myself included) has had this problem.

Maybe the pop up window should change the text and say:

"Transports out of rail MP range"

OR something like that.
