Just migrated to an Imac, good install of W7 using Bootcamp. I am able to install 1.06, however, I have to manually tell it where to place the files. All of the other prerequisite software appears to install correctly. But, I am not able to get the program to start. I want to uninstall, but there Command is not showing up in Programs and Features. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try deleting the command.ini file and restarting command.

If it still won't start try manually installing the prerequisites by going in the folder and clicking on the exe.

Tried all of the above. Didn't even find the .ini file. Two odd things...while the install process appears to run properly and finish, windows is not logging this install in the control panel. The result, I can't uninstall. The windows load looks good/stable with no other programs exhibiting any issues.

Okay. the 1.06 patch is not stand alone. You have to have installed 1.00 or later first and then apply the patches. Normally its just reinstall off a download and disk and then hit the update button. I you just grabbed the 1.06 update file and ran it you just wrote some files to your computer. The path is likely:

C:\Matrix Games\Command Modern Air Naval Operations

or if you've got Wargame of the Year Edition

C:\Matrix Games\Command Wargame of the Year Edition

When i launch VIA steam, i get a popup saying "Preparing to launch COmmand WOTY" and never launches.(Waited an hour) I bought in November, but haven't played since around Thanksgiving.....can you help?

Did a clean in C:\Matrix Games\Command Modern Air Naval Operations . As I understand you message, I need to the apply the most current patch...? If so, where can I find it.

Steam should apply it. Are you opted into the beta or anything like that? If so opt out and see if steam performs the proper update.

To re-apply prerequisites you can run them from the steam command folder which is typically here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\_CommonRedist
