Happy to be told what I'm doing wrong or what has changed, but it seems like since 1.06 I can no longer fire manually (shift+F1) while using a helo (at 80ft) to attack a submarine even when within the 0.2 nm required to fire an air-launched torpedo. In this scenario, you'll see Lumberjack 1 cannot manually fire (shift+F1) Goblin 698 even though only ~0.12 nm away with the Weapon Allocation window reading "target is out of weapon range". The only way I've found to attack subs (I believe since 1.06 as I've always attacked manually with 1.05 and 1.05beta2 and only recently it doesn't seem to work) is to use straight F1 and remove Hold Fire for this unit--then the AI will fire the torpedo at the sub. Can someone kindly tell me what I'm doing wrong or what has changed? Thanks!
