Hi,

the attached crash sometimes happens when there is a change in connected monitors (it this case I undocked the notebook). It's not critical as I always remember to save before docking/undocking the notebook.

Thanks. Its direct x going bonkshit but we might be able to handle error handling a little better. Added item.

Do you power down when you undock or dock. I used to have a dell with a docking station and any 3d game (Combat Mission and some flight sims) I played completely freaked out when I undocked/docked when powered. I called Dell Support and they pointed me to a warning to not dock/undock while powered up. Maybe something to consider.

It doesn't matter. Sometimes I dock/undock while the notebook is running. Sometimes I (partially) power down the notebook to sleep, dock/undock and then resume from sleep. The crash randomly happens in both cases.
