GreenGoblin1898 -> AGEOD forum hacked? (1/22/2015 11:49:20 AM)

I'm probably not posting this in the right place but it seems that if you Google "AGEOD forum" and click the link to the Pride of Nations forum then you get a dodgy redirect.

TulliusDetritus -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (1/22/2015 12:28:21 PM)

It works for me [:)]

http://www.ageod.com/

That is not the forum, that is the store.

On the top right corner (under the flags) you should be seeing "forums", click on it and there you go.

I notice they are using exactly the same page design as Matrixgames.

What happens if you click the link to Pride of Nations on this Google search page?

It's working for me.

Yep, me too now. Maybe they fixed it?

I clicked on the main link (AGEOD Forum instead of sub-forum Pride of Nations), and you're correct. It was redirected to a weird page: filestore72.info [&:] I tried again and it was working. And I have just tried 10 seconds ago and yes, same weird page again.

GreenGoblin1898 -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (1/22/2015 3:21:33 PM)

Thank God for this! I was pulling my hair out this morning trying to remove malware from my machine which I thought was there because of the filestore72.info business.[sm=Christo_pull_hair.gif]

Qwixt -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (1/22/2015 3:42:24 PM)

Are you sure that isn't intentional? Perhaps you should select forum button, then use the tabs below to select the correct forum, then click a tiny button on the left to go to the forum. Don't forget to end turn. Ok, I am kidding and making a joke about their interfaces.

VPaulus -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (1/22/2015 4:03:55 PM)

Anyway, I have reported the issue to our web administrators.

aaatoysandmore -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (1/23/2015 9:01:00 AM)

I always make a direct link to the forum on my computer(s) so I never have to goto the official pages and see all that advertisement. I also have adaware that removes all banners from a webpage now. It's been nice not having all those graphical pictures have to load at the top.

GreenGoblin1898 -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (1/24/2015 3:59:17 PM)

It's not fixed. Google links for places all over the AGEOD forum are being redirected.[&:]

VPaulus -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (1/24/2015 4:50:43 PM)

At the time the web admins checked, they haven't found any redirected link.
I too have experienced the issue once. But now it seems to be OK.
I have alerted the web admins again.
Thanks. :)

FYI I have not visited the AGEOD forums since I first posted this. My browser (Opera) has their website on a blacklist of malware distributors. Please sort it out guys!

I would try a different browser (Chrome, IE, etc.)

marcpennington -> RE: AGEOD forum hacked? (3/7/2015 5:26:16 PM)

I had one weird mis-direct logging into the Ageod forum yesterday using Firefox, though it was logging in from a google search based on a specific topic I was looking for. Otherwise have been able to access it without any trouble.

First the oh so many cookies and now redirects? What's next?

I would try a different browser (Chrome, IE, etc.)

If I use IE then I am not prevented from being redirected and then I get malware from the malicious page.

Try Chrome, it's a great, simple browser. Also, get and install Malwarebytes.
